TIM EJIM & SIBLINGS CELEBRATE FATHER, NZE MAURICE EJIM’S 85TH BIRTHDAY IN STYLE

In what could best be described as “Ori na ndu” in Igbo tradition , the Children of a renowned retired Teacher, Disciplinarian, Community Leader and Traditional Title Holder, Nze Maurice Ejim (Nze Udo-diri-oha) of Nguru/Umuowa Aut. Community in Ngor Okpala LGA of Imo State have celebrated his 85th birthday amidst joy.

The birthday ceremony which took place on Sunday, 3rd December 2023 at their Egbelu,Umuowa country-home, was well attended by friends, relatives and well wishers of the family.

Giving his birthday goodwill message to the celebrant at the occasion, a prominent businessman cum politician in the area, Okenze Sylvester Obinna, Okenze of Ngor Okpala described Nze Ejim as a man of integrity. He noted that Nze Ejim was his classroom teacher; He appreciated Nze Ejim for the discipline he instilled in him and attributed that as an instrument to his success in life, he wished him all the best and prayed for his longevity and good health.

Similarly, his kinsman, Arc. Ernest Okere of the AENIO KONSULT who was the Chairman of the occasion, noted that Nze Ejim is a peace loving man who has contributed immensely towards the growth, unity, peace and development of their community, he prayed for God to bless him with good health and more years to live on earth.

In his words of appreciation, the son of the Celebrant, Mr Timothy Ejim (Ugoebenaja), CEO, Rockstone Paving Concrete Limited, thanked all who had come to celebrate with his father on his birthday. He however frowned at the level of disrespect for elders amongst youths and cautioned that the youths especially in his community should eschew disrespect for their elders.

He described his father as an icon of Hope and strength , he prayed for God to keep him safe, hale and hearty to live and enjoy more fruits of his labour.

Jubilant Nze Ejim, was seen dancing in appreciation to God for keeping him to see his 85th birthday, he was equally full of thanks to their guests and prayed for Journey mercies as they return back to their various homes.

Other dignitaries who attended the ceremony includes : HRH Eze-elect Dr. Eme Njoku & wife, Nze Henry Opara, Ngidima 1 of Nguru/Umuowa, Sir Sunny Ndukwu,KSM,Nze Livinus Akagha, Peppe, Emeka Okere (Mayor),Mr Isaac Nze President General of Nguru/Umuowa Aut. Comm. and the host of many others.
