NPFL: Newcomers Bayelsa, Doma fail to win at home

It was not a good start for the duo of Bayelsa United and Doma United newcomers in the NPFL as both failed to win at home.

Both Bayelsa and Doma were forced to a 1-1 draw by visiting Dakada and Sunshine Stars respectively.

It would be noted that Insurance who like Bayelsa and Doma came from the NNL last week defeated Akwa United by 2-0 in the league opener.

3SC on their part were forced to a 3-3 draw by hard fighting Plateau United in Jos.

Rangers in an early kick off in Awka fell 0-2 to Abia Warriors while defending champions Rivers United managed a 2-1 victory over Lobi Stars in a week which many have applauded as a good start for the domestic league.
