The Nigerian singer, born Amarachi Florence Ndisi, lit up the airwaves this week with the release of her new Afrobeat single, “Party in Miami,” out September 18 on Spotify and all major digital platforms via Hugsmor Entertainment.

Built on a steady, drum-driven groove inspired by the rhythms of Mother Africa, the track arrives less as a party anthem than as a victory lap — a celebration reserved for anyone who has fought their way to the other side of a struggle and finally earned the right to let loose.

Amy Flourish says she wanted the song to speak directly to women navigating their own battles, offering a reminder in one striking verse:
