APC chairmanship aspirant calls for peace and unity in New Year message
All Progressive Congress Chairmanship aspirant in Ifelodun LCDA in Lagos State Hon Nurudeen Kolaosho has admonished members of the community to eshew violence and embrace peace, which equally engenders love.
Hon. Koleosho who is currently the vice-chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, in his new year message to people of the community, reiterated his desires for a better , safer and progressive Ifelodun LCDA.
The message tagged ‘ We Shall Overcome’, read in parts;
” This year is an all important year where we determine our future and the right decisions we make have a chance to make positive impact on us as a society. As a proud son of this community, I dare say that we have never been more divided as a people as we are now.
” We must come together as a people, in unity and love as our name “IFELODUN” implies. I promise to restore unity and peace amongst communities in Ifelodun LCDA when I assume office and bring us back to the days when our watchword was love.
” In the coming days I will be unveiling my manifesto for a better Ifelodun that will usher a new era of peace and prosperity. Let us shun all forms of violence, nepotism and political stagnation and take practical steps towards the ideal development and progress we all envisage.
” Together, we can make our community a haven of love, peace and positive change. I remain undaunted in my pursuit of perfect and unbiased quality representation of the good people of this community and will do everything in my capacity to bring this dream to reality, ” the message read conclusively.
