Cycling federation rolls out nine sub-committees

To carry out effective administration of its programmes for the next four years, the newly inaugurated board of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria, CFN, has created nine sub-committees.

The sub-committees are Technical, Security & Disciplinary, Media/Publicity, Road and Grassroot/ Women development.

Others are Track, Marketing/ Sponsorship, Planning as well as Medical/ Anti-doping.

According to the Secretary General of the CFN, Mr Shammah Makpa, the Technical committee has Dr. Emmanuel Igbinosa as chairman and  Bashir Mohammed as the technical director. Other members are Dr. Franz Atare, Femi Thomas, Angela Okoro with Mr Makpa as the secretary.

The Security/Disciplinary committee has ACP Faruk Abdullahi as chairman. Others are Bashir Abdulmumin, Dr. Franz Atare, Terwange Nongo while Aminu Ali will serve as secretary.

The Media/Publicity committee has Patrick Omorodion as chairman, Dr Khadija Musa, vice chairman, Elder James Amidu and Joke Durogbade as members while Mr Makpa will serve as secretary.

Chairman of the Track committee is Col. Al-Amin Ado Ibrahim and Dr. Emmanuel Igbinosa is vice chairman. Members are Dr. Samuel Ogbondeminu, Bashir Mohammed,  ACP Frank Abdullahi, Femi Thomas, Angela Okoro with Mr Makpa as secretary.

The Road committee has Engr. Ndubuisi Okorie as chairman, Angela Okoro as vice chairman while other members are Dr. Ogbondeminu, Bashir Abdulmumin,  Elder James Amidu and Aminu Ali is to serve as secretary.

Chairman of the Grassroot/ Women development committee is Dr Khadija Musa, members are Femi Thomas, Terwange Nongo, Joke Durogbade, Angela Okoro, Bashir Abdulmumin, Engr. Uzoani Uchechukwu while Aminu Ali will serve as secretary.

 President of the CFN, Engr. Giadomenico Massari is chairman of the Marketing/Sponsorship committee with the vice president, Dr. Ago Habu Abdulrahman. as vice chairman. Other members are Col. Aminu Ado Ibrahim, Dr. Khadija Musa, Femi Thomas, Elder James Amidu, Dr. Emmanuel Igbinosa and Patrick Omorodion while Mr Makpa will serve as the secretary.

Professor Wegwu Matthew is chairman of the Planning committee with Dr. Franz Atare as vice chairman. Members include Engr. Ozoani Uchechukwu, Dr. Khadija Musa and Terwange Nongo with Aminu Ali as secretary.

Chairman of the Medical/Anti-doping committee is Dr. Samuel Ogbondeminu, vice chairman is Prof. Weghu Matthew while members are Dr. Franz Atare, Dr. Khadija Musa and Terwange Nongo. Aminu Ali will serve as secretary.
