Iloenyosi congratulates Balele Kurfi on electoral victory

Ex international, Chikelue Iloenyosi has congratulated chairman Katsina State FA Aminu Balele Kurfi on his victory in the APC primaries over the weekend.

Balele Kurfi who is eyeing the Green Chambers in Abuja won the APC primaries in his federal constituency.

Balele Kurfi polled 97 votes to beat his opponent who managed to secure only six votes.

Iloenyosi who is the chairman BOT of the All Nigeria Football Players Union (ANPFU) said the victory is good for Nigerian football insisting that it would be good to have lawmakers who are passionate about Nigerian football.

“Balele was one of those who gave Super Eagles solid backing during the World Cup qualifier against Ghana. I am happy he is making good in road in politics and I pray he eventually wins in 2023. I congratulate him on the victory at the primaries,” Iloenyosi stated.
